MAXI and COMBI window awnings offer affordable sun protection for large and small windows. The spring-loaded drop arm can be extended to any position. For additional sun protection or privacy, lower the awning all the way down. For easy storage, retract the awning into its own optional hood cover.
MAXI
The MAXI is a window awning designed for commercial as well as residential applications or for windows wider than 10 feet. The system utilizes the same roller tube and front bar as the SUNAIR lateral arm awning. This heavy duty awning can be made up to 30' wide in one piece and can be coupled together up to 60'.
The MAXI is available in any projection up to 5'8" and standard colors are white, brown , silver, sand and forest green (custom colors available at an extra charge).
Standard operation is a manual gear. Optional operation is motorized.
FOR LARGE WINDOWS OR STOREFRONTS
The Maxi window awning is designed for residential and commercial applications and is typically wider than 10 ft. The system utilizes the same roller tube and front bar as our Lateral Arm systems. The arm is designed with a heavy-duty internal spring system. Manual gear operation is standard while hood and motors are optional.
The Maxi is easily attached to new or existing structures such as brick or block without special installation requirements. The bolts in a siding or wood installation should be fastened into solid studs or headers. Large toggle bolts can be used if studs can not be utilized.
PROJECTION:
When measuring the projection of the awning take the view from the window into consideration. When the awning is extended in normal position the view should not be obstructed. The projection of the awning should be equal to half the height of the window. The awning will extend down 160 degrees for more privacy and protection from late afternoon sun.
COMBI / MINI
| COMBI / MINI window awnings offer affordable sun protection for small windows. The spring-loaded drop arm can be extended to any position (standard tape operation included, motorized or gear operation is also available). Lower the awning all the way down for complete privacy or for extra late afternoon sun protection (see below). For easy storage, retract the awning into its own cassette.
Maximum width is 10 feet with a maximum projection of 3'4".
